It’s almost time to VOTE!! As we approach our all-important Primary elections, I wanted to invite you to an event in Rockville:

After twelve years, Councilmember (and former Gaithersburg Mayor) Sidney Katz is leaving office. There is a contested race to succeed him. I am enthusiastically supporting Gaithersburg Mayor Jud Ashman in the June Democratic Primary. Jud is smart, effective, hard-working, and creative. He’s also both compassionate and common sense as a leader… at a time when they are most desperately needed!
This Wednesday, May 6, one of my lovely neighbors in New Mark Commons is hosting a Meet & Greet from 5-7pm. Care to join us– you can RSVP here if you plan to stop by!
Are You Registered?

In order to cast a full ballot in Maryland’s Primary elections, you must be affiliated with a Political Party. (If you are Unaffiliated, you may only vote for School Board.) If you are not yet registered to vote, you may go to a polling location

during Early Voting or on Election Day, register, and vote.

NOTE: This session, I tried (AGAIN!) to allow Unaffiliated voters to register with the Political Party of their choice during Early Voting, but the Senate was unfortunately not ready to move this legislation. You can email me if you want to help advocate for this important “Ballot Access” law in the future.

Best,

Cheryl
